Your pet may begin to anticipate the grooming process before check-in which can produce adrenaline in your pet. Most times they calm down once they are here and settled in. Leaving their owners is hard and it's their job to love you! It is very similar to dropping children off at Daycare. Most pets don’t like leaving home and their environment in order to have a bath and nail trim (especially once older).

You're their support system. We try to make the grooming more enjoyable but, in all honesty, some pets just don’t like it, and that is okay! Sticking to a schedule in some cases can help alleviate anxiety by making it a part of your pet's routine. If the schedule is set in place from a young pup, they will establish that comfort and some may become excited to see us! If your pet suffers from anxiety, we offer in house CBD oil treatments which helps many pets calm down depending on their level of anxiety.
